What's considered good Youtube on-page SEO these days? I see all types of SEO being used, but I'm not sure how effective it is. I've seen...

    A) High-keyword density in description and title, tags spammed in description
    B) High-keyword density in title only, short description with no tags spammed in description
    C) Low-keyword density in title, high keyword density in description, tags spammed, etc

And variations of this. But I'm not sure what is the most beneficial SEO. You know, basic questions regarding..

Proper Title SEO: Importance of keyword density? Should keyword need to be in title?

Proper Description SEO: Should I try to write a description for people? Or Google's bots? Is it good or bad to include tags copy pasted into my description?

Tagging SEO: What's proper tagging? Is it better to use less tags that target your video more closely? Or more tags that target your video more loosely?

I'm looking for SEO that wouldn't make an average Youtuber user look at my video's title or description and think "Did a robot write this?". I did some searching, but realized that perhaps this a question best re-asked considering that the rules regarding these sort of subjects often change. What might've been effective a year ago might not be now. :p

Basically, be natural. Obviously put your main keyword you are trying to rank for first in the title. Make your title natural. An example would be say... Fuzzy Red Slippers - Keep Warm With These Comfy Shoes

As far as the "looking like a bot" created it, don't. In your description just write a natural paragraph or two. Start at the beginning with your keyword in the first sentence. Mix in variations of that keyword writing naturally and use words that are LSI of that keyword.

For the tags, no sense in going over board. Just start it with your main keyword phrase, then variations and some LSI words.

Pretty basic and simple and there is no "magic" on page SEO for videos. Just make sure the main focus of the entire video is about what key phrase you want to rank for. Including naming your video before you upload it with your phrase in the file name.

You can go on I suppose, but following what I just wrote right here is what I use as a guideline and I have videos first page of Google. If it's really competitive, do some back linking with something like No Hands SEO along with some views and likes. Pretty basic stuff. Best of luck.

Tags and putting good keywords in the description have helped me rank my videos higher. A lot of videos spam their tags with nonsense and non related stuff, stick to related tags. In the description, make sure to include all your keywords and make sure to write a few lines.

    Title keyword | keyword phrase

Body I use the title for my first line
Then keyword and link to my offer 2nd

rest of the body 300 or so words with keywords at 3% or better density
    Last line of body
    Keyword
    Related keywords 3-5

Tags main keyword,3-5 related from above

Annotations 1 at beginning with keyword
    One at end with Keyword

Caption I use the wording from the video and mix in the keyword at beginning and end

And then i hit it with Social media until it crys and ad a few backlinks and everyone i have tried the last month or so has hit page one top spots.

Also if its a really tough niche make muti youtube channels and upload the video on other accounts and in the body include the video to your main channel
nothing else because those your only using for link juice nothing more.

is there a amount of keyword that makes it more bad than good? i read often that it is the best to use 10 keywords not more and not less?

and does it makes sense to combine keywords to one keyword? as example to merge "get, money, free, here," into "get money free" ? if yes, how do make sure its on the best position? i mean should i put combined tags in first place or middle or at the end?

really tricky stuff this tagshit :D

Test it and figure it out yourself, best way to see how it works.

I have used No Hands SEO alone with no other work done e.g. no likes, no views, and have put videos on the first page of Google for medium to medium difficulty keywords. Yes, it does work. It takes a little longer doing it this way but the videos will rank high or very high on the first page.
