Just curious... in your opinion, what do you think is the best layout to have for micro-niche websites for SEO and for AdSense? Is it good to have the full posts displayed on the front page or just the excerpts? Or just display one post full content and the rest excerpts? Or just have a static front page and different pages for each keyword? What do you guys think is most effective (in your personal opinion)? Or does it not matter which layout you go with and it's just the keywords overall on the site and not just on the front page?

What I do is use one Sticky post which targets main Keyword (EMD).Below that I display excerpts of other posts.

I try to inter-link as many posts as possible.

Also, make site look good.Don't spam it with Ads.Also, don't use themes like CTRTheme. It is way too simple.

    I love thesis.
Clean code and you can customize it the way you like if you know what you're doing.

Depends on how you are monetizing. If you are hoping for affiliate sales the default twentyten theme is pretty good. Very clean code. Use a minify plugin and it loads really fast as well.

What I do is create a 'page' for my main keyword which is also in the EMD and I set it as my homepage, basically giving a static website effect. The rest of my long tails come as 'posts' and I show them in my menu (title only).

As far as themes go I have had really good success with the CTR theme. I do not use the SEO settings with CTR theme I use custom plugins for this.

+1 for thesis theme. Its a good one. However, it doesn't mean others aren't good. Just experiment around and try out different themes and then stick to the one which gives you best result.
