I read through the forum for 2 months and now I'm finally following the general advice to just take action...

I want to set up some or at least one website to apply to the CPA companies and read through the popular threads etc. but after all that input I'm actually a bit confused right now... :(

What would be the best option for a frist-time-noob to go with? Setting up a fake company website is still above my head yet, besides I wouldn't really know what to tell them to sound professional, since I'm not a native English speaker after all...

Is a simple newsblog sufficient? a niche like celebrity news, gardening or sth like that...

They always tell you to "set up a simple website", but I don't quite understand: why would they accept me, just because I own a blog, that shows some news or articles but doesn't sell anything? ...and to sell anything I'd have to be in a CPA network already...

I mean, as I understand it, they want to see a "proof" for my marketing abilities...why should I show them some blog about a niche topic, devoid of any advertising, that could as well just be my hobby or sth...?

I'm sorry, if it is a noobish and stupid question/thread...but I am totally irritated right now and would greatly appreciate some constructive answers

    use the search function.

There is a sticky thread made by one of the mods here which give you a step by step guide to being accepted into most cpa agencies. And you do not need to fake a business.

You dont even need to purchase a domain to get accepted

Just head over to the CPA Section and look at the top threads

Ok, so I just need a site, that gets regular, real visitors and then tell them, that I want to monetize it? I mean, how can I sound believable when talking about conversion rates and experience, when my flagship to show to them is a site without any ads? Maybe I'm just overanalyzing...
