I suggest you reduce the price of your ebook and market it like mad on forums! (*HINT* DP) (NOT BHW)

Also when people see the value of the ebook for a low price you will get volumes of sales.

Try not to spend too much advertising an ebook.

    $200/6 = $33.3

The value inside the book, its worth those $33
I was totally aiming for $47 at first

(The $47 is how much it costs to get an ad in the newspaper_)

    Just a few quick ideas...

Setup your website to offer payment by trial-pay (uses trial offers for payment). then no one has to actually *buy* the ebook for you to get paid...

pay someone to read it and offer it on a cd or mp3. after they 'buy' the ebook offer them the audio for another trial offer.

    then offer them the video,

all the people that made it that far, find something more expensive to offer them later.

one of the offline ideas i was working on involves writing a local newspaper press release giving away free seats to a workshop. all the attendees will get a copy of the book. make sure to get your website in the pr. and try to tie it in to the town somehow.

if you really cant stand people, find a reason to cancel and send them the book :)

    Okay,

And lets say for example I do want to go through clickbank, and want other people to promote my product...

Is it hard to set it up?
As an affiliate.. it take 5 min.
what about if you are the one who is providing the affiliates with the product to sell?

Should be easy to setup but there is a fee.. you'll probably need to do some promotion as well to get affiliates to start promoting it. Maybe write an e-book on Adwords and use your e-book as the example ad lol.

I think if you're serious about the CB route get some stats yourself FIRST. Conversions, etc.

Then when you know what keywords are working for you etc,

give the stats and campaigns to your affiliates.

for a good example of this in action in an autoresponder and on a website join the mailing list for the fat loss idiot program. the one with the doctor that walks on screen. she milks her list for advertisment, and provides ads and examples plus 'oh my gosh john just made a billion dollars with this ad! go try it and see how much you make!' :puke:

p.s. have heard its $50 to put product on cb, i think.

I'd look at that price and lower it, especially if you're ebook is less than 60 pages. I sold my ebook on DP with some decent reviews for about 4 months and made about $600 during that time without doing much of anything. If you've got a good item, get some good reviews and can be convincing enough with the sales copy, you can bring in some good cash at $10-$15 a pop. Give em a inch and make them scratch.

Let's here what you've got. Sell us, man, we'll tell you if it's worth it (or if it even sounds like its worth it).

i am about to sell my poker ebook too.

of course you guys get a good price :) but i wanted to package it with some other valuable stuff. do you think i should do an option of $15 for just the book and $47 for the package or should i just sell the package only?

i have some other materials that i am using as free give aways to promote the ebook so should i just add the bonus stuff to the freebies as an alternative? though i do think it is too valuable of a giveaway and wont get compensated through the payment of the book (though i could increase the book price). i dont know... suggestions from some of you with experience?

If you have a nice pitch you can sell anything.. hell look at Frank Kern.. people are always lining up to buy his next thousand dollar product.

People are retards.. fact.. if you tell them it's good, they will believe you.. People are just like sheep. I could rabble on all day about how retarded people naturally are, so you have the idea.

Market your e-book on niche-related forums and sell it to hell on the Buy/Trade/Sell sections and if it's good, then it'll get good reviews and more people will buy it.

You can target people on Social Networks with a small income, they're all desperate right now.. you can target people on niche-related forums.. yes newspapers and job postings work well.. there's endless possibilities to get your product in front of people.

Get other affiliates to sell it on PayDotCom.

Here's some tips to get more affiliates to promote it on PayDotCom:

    1) Offer affiliate commissions of 60% - 75%

    2) Create and offer an affiliates tool page where they can download various promotional tools for them to use. Things like Squeeze Page Templates, Banners, newsletter copy, brandable ebook samplers, etc.

    Cheers! - "Wiz"
