    Hello guys,

i'm just interested what your best ways to grow are. I started this new thread because i dont want any follow/unfollow things. I just dont like it..i've done it the last days and it feels horrible.
And no, i'm too tiny for engagement groups. They dont want me.

I started to write many high quality comments and liking stuff a bit myself.
(Can i run instagress for liking other pictures anyway? I mean..how safe is that?!)

But i was asking myself, how you guys do that? What are your limits?
How many comments/likes a day and how do you count them? (maybe i should make notes, lol)

Alternative to unfollow/follow? (because i hate it)

Posting quality content should be a must, so we dont have to talk about it!

    Thanks for sharing your experiences.

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a real method anymore. Follow-unfollow now ruins your shot at getting on the explore page and making your posts viral, so that's a no-go.

Now I just engage with other people in my niche and write real comments like you do. I don't really give myself a limit, I just stop when it starts to feel like its too much. I know that's vague...but you have to use Instagram as much as a "real" user would now. The new algorithms really hate anything spammy or robot-like. But to slap a number on it, maybe after 20 consecutive comments it's time to take a break. Like I said, these days I just try to act as much as a "real" user as possible and it is the best-working thing I've done since Facebook bought Instagram.

I also buy shoutouts here and there and they help a bunch.

As for Instagress, I would steer clear.

    Thanks, thats really helpful!
So i just should try to keep it slow and steady..thats a good point i guess.

Good that i've done it just 1-2 days..but after one round..its enough for me. That just dont feel good.

But will the new algorithms punish me for writing many GOOD comments? i mean..say..i write 60-90 comments a day, really long/accurate and always not spammy.
    And i like..huhme...100-200 pics?

The bot will do that for me, but...yeah. I think it will be 100-200 likes, because instagress is really slow and i like it that way. (got 30 days and yeah, i just want to use that time to like, not more..will stop using it after then)

Whooaa whoa whoaa.. .what? I've been doing follow/unfollow since I started (3weeks).
I'm quite new to this so can you please explain that part. Like something to w/ the algorithm?

You can bot, just don't bot like a robot and make it look human. That's it.

As to shouts? Some of the "better" shout accounts will send fake likes and followers your way to "show" that their shout worked!

Now, unless your over 100K or more, then you may, or may not, stop follow/unfollow. Many large accounts still do it with no problem. On Instagram, there is no one size fits all. Everything depends...

One thing I do as I try to keep a lot of mine manual, I find my biggest competitors in my niche. And by that I don't mean like, biggest accounts, but I tend to find the ones that are very similar to me but a bit smaller than mine, with lower quality photos, and I know for a fact they are botting.

Then usually each morning when I wake up I'll go to their accounts, go through their new followers and like the photo they liked from their new followers while botting.

I find as the other account has laid down the work of botting and finding followers that are likely to follow you, the like to follow ratio is way better, and you don't have to perform as many like actions.

The niche I'm in, the industry notices who's botting, so I find this way a bit less obvious.

Post good content... I have a account growing 1k+ just from posting daily..
Also, try powerlike/engagement groups, huge potential to grow if you find a good group

As I explained, when Facebook bought IG lots of things changed, including algorithms. In my experience follow unfollow is not effective anymore and will hurt your chances at getting on the explore page. I have one account that is athe 96k followers and another at 21k. Both accounts were negatively affected by follow unfollow after Facebook bought IG.

There isn't proof. Sounds like anecdotal evidence . I have never seen follow/unfollow hurt chances of hitting explore

The best method is to Invest money if you seriously wanna grow your account. Powerlikes are really effective you gonna have to spend some money but most of your posts will hit explore page. Also what is important is that you do like and comment rounds in engagement groups and post your content when these rounds start. You dont really need to spend money to do that maybe on a bot to complete these rounds since manually liking 400 pics is a bit annoying.
If you have any questions feel free to PM me.

Not trying to be rude, but I can tell you don't have any big accounts on Instagram, just from this comment alone. I am 99% sure.

Stop fucking botting, people. Stop follow/unfollow. Download Telegram and ask around for engagement rounds. Usually they are at 9 am and 3 pm EST, but some run every hour. Some do not have a follower requirement. Get into those. Once you hit 30k, get into a 30k min group. One you hit 50k, get into a 50k group. Same with 100k. Once you hit 100k, there are some extremely big Telegram engagement groups, with a couple having reaches of 100 million +. You'll gain far more than you will from follow/unfollow, the followers will follow you because they WANT to and not because their conscience is lecturing them to reciprocate, and you won't get banned either.

I have a completely fresh account with like 20 followers. What's the best way forward other than curating good content + target small hastags?

I've joined a few engagement groups and have liked other people with FL (there's like 300 likes to do, don't want to do it manually). Would I get hit by algorithms coz I think it looks extremely unnatural for a 20 follower account to get 300 likes.

How should I go about finding powerlike groups or growth network, are there marketplaces online like there is for shootouts? I don't mind paying for entry as long as those groups are trustworthy.

    Thanks

Instagram was not meant for spam or cpa, period. I started a 100% legit account in the 3D Anime Niche. no, it won't get crowded because 99.99% of my content is self created, even if it is parody. 99.99% of BHW users can't find the .exe location for photoshop, let alone fire up zbrush and try to "saturate" my niche. Engagement comes from paid comments and likes to boost my stats, nothing more. I do not follow/unfollow. I find people that do are noobs, and in such a way just doing it for cpa quick cash (which doesn't exist). I make about $200 per month from my Instagram account just from people donating to me, and a few commissioned jobs as well. I know my method works, because ...
UNIQUE QUALITY > CPA REHASHED POSTS! I don't promote cpa because its a waste of time, full of scams and spam. People might want to THINK that the resources they waste trying to spam ogads scam offers would be the same amount of time used to create content people would support or give you money for.

    Exactly. Thank you tinply.

Just read around the IG threads here..people are beginning to conclude the same thing I've concluded. Just stop doing follow/unfollow. There isn't any concrete proof, there isn't concrete proof of anything in IM. We recognize trends, try things, fail, and try other things until we succeed. I already did the work and I'm telling you just don't bother with it. You can try it anyway if you really want to.

I see a lot of people telling beginners to stop follow/unfollow or at least bot in a human way. I would like to address both issues.

First of all low quality engagement groups ain't gonna do shit for you, they are filled with low engagement/quality niches such as luxury/quotes/girls. Follow/Unfollow is the best option to grow a couple of accounts to
the entry limit of some better engagement groups, once you reach that point you could start fresh accounts and boost them through those groups. I think people should think more of the context when replying to starters, it's easy to give advice when having access to those warm and fuzzy engagement groups.

Second of all, Instagram knows you are botting, they just don't care. It does not matter how you are doing it, if you are botting <300 follow/unfollows <400 likes it's a good chance it wont matter, they can't be bothered such small things, once you break daily 500 follow/unfollows 500 likes there's no way of masking the bot. When getting banned, unless you spammed, is almost impossible to figure out your mistakes, they will not ban you on the spot, instead they will put you on a timer, track you, analyze every bit of data, feed their deep learning algorithms with you, when you become of no value they will just hammer you.

If you are not spamming or involved in spammy niches, you are not selling/promoting stuff without a business account, basically if you are using the platform as it's intended to be you can get away with a lot of botting, for now at least. As other have suggested they will probably lower your explore chance and might lower your organic reach as well, but hey what other option do you have at the start?
