I need some help.
What are good sites or software to find trending content?
google.com/trending thats what i know
It really depends on what you're after, besides the mentioned Google Trends: Reddit, StumbleUpon, Twitter, TMZ, Youtube etc.
Thanks for your reply, I mean up and coming content before it blows up (based on keyword).
BuzzSumo is a good tool, but I am looking for other ways to find content for a buzzfeed / viral nova style site.
BuzzSumo is what you need to get viral content.
Thanks for those suggestions.
I can get viral content on youtube via filters, that is a good one.
What about Reddit, StumbleUpon, Twitter? Are there any tools that
help find viral content on those site?
On Twitter you can take a look at the trending hashtags on the right handside of your account under "Trending". Or there are 3-rd party tools, which show you the trending Twitter hashtags.
If you go to reddit.com, you'll be taken to the "hot" tab by default or you can switch to the "top" tab too, so you'll find the trending topics, also there's a "rising" tab.
On StumbleUpon after you set your interest and you acc is ready to use, you'll find a switch in the top left corner, just set it to "Trending".
As they said before go to buzzsumo and it will tell you what content is getting the most traffic from social media
Nice!! Thank you, I had no idea.
Gonna check those out today...thanks SO MUCH!
Lots of good ideas and photos on this site....thanks bro!
There you will find many trending ideas and topic which really helps you.
Thanks for that, it seems only related to SEO and website stuff...right?
Randy, I use a program called Viral Autobot. Google it. I use it for finding videos for my FB page to grow that. You can schedule from within the web app and then you're good. It also shows you what's trending on Youtube and Twitter.
As for trending content for website content, I google for content within specific sites like Viral Nova and then filter it by how old it is. I go back by about two or three years to see if I can retrigger virality with something people haven't seen lately. I look for lists everywhere basically. I'm going to give you my honey pot though. 9gag. I've always had good success with 9gag.
Reddit and stumbleupon is my suggestion
Thank you for all the good suggestions...9gag too!
+1 for buzzSumo buddy
I believe reddit has some cool subs that post viral content on a daily basis.
+2 for buzzsumo
Buzzsumo is the best...
