best ways to create a blog and monetize

I'm wanting to create a blog and of course, to earn money, but I've never done that, I don't know where to start and I don't know if it's a good idea nowadays, but if so, where would I publicize it and how would I make money with it? if possible answer my question from the beginning of the text

Knowing how to setup a WordPress website for blogging is a skill th at will benefit you in the long run. Blogging can earn money, but the competition is tougher especially for a newbie.

If you are searching for the most basic starting knowledge it would be best to start on youtube where they have hundreds of videos and beginer guides for free that can go way more in detail than a few words of text on a forum.

Im just pointing this out because youtube will videos will hand hold you through the whole process, but random people on forums will only help "so much" for questions so basic that it has been asked 100000 times and you can simply use the search function to read the answers given before.

To start all you really need to know to form the basebone is

Wordpress
Hosting
Theme (does not need to be expensive)
Pexels (best to start off avoiding copyright issues if you dont make the money to pay for better images).
Google Search Console
SEO plugin (yoast/rank math)

Everything else from this is additional and best learnt on the move etc.

I know how to set up websites, I just don't know where to promote the blog, I'm from Brazil, so I believe that the competition is not like in the USA, but if I want to do that, is there a way I can scale without spending for now?

What you are looking is the most basics of information and you seems to be just starting out. No one can give you such detailed answer. The best way would be to use the search function of this website and use the information already posted. There are some thread, where you can find links of separate thread which will answer every question of yours. All it will take is 3-4 days and you will have pro level knowledge

You must learn about SEO and drive traffic from google to your blog.

Would definitely recommend wordpress to be able to download plugins like YoastSEO or others to help optimise pages.

However, most importantly, start a blog. on something you're actually interested in. When the slog becomes real and you're focusing too much on trying to make money, it will be demoralizing. If it's something you're passionate about, it'll be easier to write things and stick with it to see long term results.

If you want to go the "safe" route, have a look at Income School on YouTube, they have some pretty decent beginner guides to just get into it and start with a plan.
