Best way to watermark a picture?

As above.I have PS but dont know how to use it.Whats the best way to watermark a photo? There are online programs that do that but those texts are small.I want a huge watermark in the middle that is difficult to remove.Any suggestions?Thanks

yea
1. make a new layer
2. use the text tool or whatever you want to make a huge watermark over the photo
3. change the opacity of the layer that is the watermark

You can do as above and record the action so you can batch process images with the batch image tool.

Very handy when watermarking a bunch of images.

For batch jobs, or single jobs ImageMagick is great.

the easier and maybe the most efficient way if you have thousand of images to add watermark to is using some PNG file (watermark) and adding into the same directory to the server where the other images are. With the help of .htaccess file and one php file you can add the watermark to all the images in the directory. PM me if you dont understand (i'm not very good at explaining ) and I'll send you both files

I'll give this a shot.Not really good at PS but seems easy enough.thanks
