I'm starting out in media buys and I want to send paid traffic directly to the CPA offer (Peerfly). What is the best way to track the traffic I send to the offer?

there are quite a few options you can choose from, you can add source, sub id, impression pixel or even third party postback url to the tracking url

I have heard of this, will have to look into it some more.

Also I have web hosting and some old domains laying around if that would help, basically want to be able to get the most detailed information, demo, region, time, days etc.

What about Bevo Media ? If you don't care giving all information to a 3rd party it can be a goog solution.

I've been reading some more and I am still totally lost as to what to do.

First I found a website that I can advertise directly on so I won't be using a 3rd party advertising company.

Now when I make my custom banners where do I host them? Will the site upload them to their server, or do I need to upload them to mine?

If they upload to their server how do I know how many impressions the banner gets?

This is kinda frustrating, seems like everything I find while searching for is years old and probably outdated. I also don't want to pay for anything at the moment for sites like tracking202. I'd really appreciated it if someone could kinda show me the way. Thanks

Contacting your network would be the best choice. And since you are with Peerfly, I am sure they have got numerous options which you can choose from to track the traffic.

Tracking is little bit technical and it requires some times to get into it. There are 3 options you can use for tracking.

    1. Tracking option provided by CPA network
    2. Self hosted tracking solutions which are free and paid. free tracking application you can use is Prosper202 but you need a VPS to install it. CPVLab is a paid tracking solution.
    3. Hosted tracking software which you pay monthly subscription to be able to use them. Bevo Media provides that kind of service, they have free version but if you want to integrate your CPA network into the tracking application, you need to be a verified member and it costs you some bucks per month.

Thanks! So I'm thinking option #2 would be the best for me if I have multiple banners and am working directly with a website to put them on?

The thing I still don't get it where do I host my banners. Take peerfly for example, there usually have a few banners you can link directly to, but if I wanted to create my own where do they get uploaded to?
