Best way to structure a wordpress site

My site is doing pretty bad in SEO ranking, and I suspect that it maybe have something to do with bad structure. I need your help with checking if my strategy is correct.

1.Where do I have to upload the images? For example I have images for my products and for my blogs. Should they be located under https://xxx.com/products and https://xxx.com/blog or should all the images be located under http://www.com/images?

2.I have noticed that my tags are located under /blog, is this a correct way to structure the tags?

Use the images with your link of product at any place where you can add it. Social media is good place to promote products y using attractive description and title for getting more and more views.
