    Hey guys,

What do you think about this...

I just bought 25 identical machines for my business's call center (some used Dell OptiPlex GX280s, gig of RAM, winXP) and I'm wondering what is the most effective way to get these up with a fresh copy of Windows... and also keep them running in the long run. All they will really need to keep on their desktops is a softphone, Firefox, and some bookmarks.

Is there a way to clone the hard drive once I get 1 machine configured properly, and then replicate the setup on the remaining machines? (I mean, install the drivers, softphone, Firefox, antivirus... and then make a copy)

Also, what is the best way to maintain the computers from going to crap? Anyone have any experience with Windows SteadyState?

    Thanks

    Hello,

In my opinion Acronis is best, Acronit True Image (googe it), try to find crack or keygen.

Install complete computer and made an image of hard drive in one file and clone it on other computers.

The option you Norton Ghost, for the other programs I do not know I had no experience with other program.

    I hope i helped,

    Darko,

I have used Norton Ghost to image machines in lab with great results. U have the ablility to push the images over a netwrk. For office I am using Reflect, the free version as I don't have to image a bunch the same, but seems to work great. Let me know if I can help.
