Hey guys,

I'm about to buy a domain and I was thinking about what to do.
I am in the gaming niche and I was thinking about doing a website for many different games or doing few different websites for every single niche?
which one is more effective and easier to rank?

If you are serious about this and are willing to put in the time then I would say make 1 authority site. Get tons of good content on there. If you know a lot about the niche (which you should) then write it yourself. You can then make as many pages as you like off this authority site for your sub niches.

Get involved in social circles and get your content out there. Build your authority then do a bit of link building. A good authority site will stand the test of time, and the best thing I like about them is that they pull in traffic from a ton of long tail keywords!

That's what I would do anyway

Good luck :)

GSA is good for new sites helping for getting indexed. But you must create some good, high authority backlinks.

If you are looking for some long term rankings, you need to build all your tier 1 links manually. GSA can be used for tier 2 and 3.

OP if you wanna make an authority site focus on your on page SEO and brand building. Don't immediately get GSA; if you do it right, you won't even need it. Focus on getting your site out there on social media sites and building a following.

I've found ranking today costs much more money and takes much less work. Building crap links with bots used to be all you had to do, now it's just good for generating link/anchor diversity. Paid homepage and blog posts are where it's at.

Thanks! I also plan to buy GSA. Can u recommend it?

If you don't know what your doing with automated link building, don't buy it. If you do and are careful, it can be useful. Just don't use it afor tier 1 links.

Honestly I wouldn't recommend you to buy any SEO tool on that stage, first create a solid strategy plan and then start working on it.

for tier1 links, avoid using those free links....

even if your doing it manually, it will be still useless...

Google tends to give lesser ranking points on them...

Just imagine what will happen on the search rankings if they give good points on them..

I would build the site first, get tons of posts out there. See if you can rank naturally on Google (of course you would be far down). When you site starts showing signs of ranking, get some quality links pointed at it. Do everything naturally, this should be a long project. You can get GSA to build mild tier 2 links, but I would not recommend it for tier 1 links on a long term site. GSA is great for fast ranking. With every action, comes an equal reaction. The faster you rank, slam links on to the site; the faster Google with de-rank you, and slam your site due to the links.

How about making it an authority site with content about every new game and have sub directories of each
niche? In the long run that would pay off better than a bunch of micro sites.

Yes, that would be a better idea. You'd only have to worry about building one site. But it's a larger risk, if someone decides to neg seo you you're screwed.

Yes I can recommend GSA but be careful and get used to using it before using it on your main site. At this stage you should just be concentrating on content and picking up natural links
