Best way to ping?

I'm new to this whole pinging concept.

    I have 3 questions:

    1. I know Linklicious has a paid service and a lot of the backlink services use them to ping blog comments etc. What makes Linklicious better than using any of these websites, or how is it different?
(moderation forced me to not paste links here)

    2. Am I correct that If I distribute an article or use a link building service that doesn't have pinging capability that I should be using scrapebox to find the new incoming links and after I have the url's I paste them all into one of the above ping sites to ping them?

    3. I remember someone saying something about making an RSS feed and placing all of the new link url's into a feed and just pinging the feed. Should I do that, and how is that better than doing as in #2 above?
