Hey guys, I'm really new to BHW and I've found to to be a tremendous source of real value.

I am currently a successful entrepreneur/professional poker player and I want to get into the internet marketing, affiliate marketing, SEO, passive income world. I used to own a business that shipped physical goods and did six figures a year, and now I play poker and make about $50-75 an hour (but this is trading time for money, which I don't enjoy.)

I have a decent amount of capital, nothing crazy, but I'm not the average user who is not willing to invest $5 to buy a domain for their blog. I have money to work with. How do I leverage this, plus my hard work ethic, plus the wealth of knowledge out there, to become SUPER successful? ($100k/yr, $10k/month or better range?)

I'm looking for practical methods and suggestions and am open to some that may require capital/initial investment to work with. However, I'm not looking to buy your $50 guide to Internet riches...

There are a lot of things in IM that require "trading time for money" so don't fall into the trap of thinking an autopilot income rolling in while you sit on the beach can be achieved overnight. However, you're in one of the best places in order to find how to do well in IM.

Time = Money so spend enough money to have the time to read through this forum for days (and weeks) and you will be settled for life!

    Not kidding.

That doesn't make a lot of sense. You sound like a noob trying to be smart looking for an easy route.

I think you should GetLaid Dude.

Trading forex with low to medium risk...10% per month is not hard. I'm doing 100+%, but never with more than thousands at a time. If it was $10k or more, I wouldn't trade at such a risk. But 10% is easy achievable, if you know what you are doing...with a low drawdown, of course.

Find profitable keywords with good amounts of searches per month and then outsource article creation, off- and onpage seo (go for quality!!!), and you could even outsource the setup of websites if you feel like not doing anything at all. Monetize with what ever seems suiting like adsense, a clickbank product or whatever affiliate product you find. But note that you should be prepared to fail and not letting that make you tilt.

I understand that concept, but can a random website based on a profitable low competition keyword and outsourced $5 articles really generate enough traffic to justify the costs of outsourced SEO and maintenance costs??? Seems like it would be REALLY tough to pull that off.

If you want to earn like a "Big Baller" (a.k.a. an authority, most of the times) you will have to become one.

Protips, be unique and don't go into the deep with people that PM you their promises without having looked them in the (real) eyes!

To be honest, I'd say save the money for living, and in the meanwhile learn yourself about IM. It's not that hard after all...

And remember, a healthy interest in something means half of the work :D

Why should he even prepare to fail? This is such a typical answer I'd get from my Indian and Chinese "friends" (not to be racist, it just happens to be so). These guys promise you the world for a measly $10 that might dissapear in their own pockets, whilst taking the OP for a trip through IM-Wonderland.

OP, beware of this kind of messages. What seems to good to be true often is.

Well, first thing first - IF you were a professional poker player you wouldn't be on this site.
Secondly, $50-75/hr is low for poker...so I'm guessing you're just a tilt monkey or just went busto?

You are asking, how can I make $10K/month? If you knew basic mathematics, your ~$60/hr would average about $10K a month? Clearly not pro...

Sorry for the bash, but I grind for a living and see it's funny when tards like you post this nonsense.

As others have mentioned, time = money. There is no doubt about that. What you need to do is invest lots of time into making a solid platform for making money. After that has been achieved, you can basically sit back and watch, with minimal maintenance.

BrandingBaw - My bad, I shouldn't expect IM'ers to know poker terms...but you got it. That's exactly what I do from the video.

You are making $75 a hour is pretty good compared to many people. If you do anything IM related it will take time.

I would look into crypto currencies like BitCoins, high risk though.

Oh and also you could hire someone to make a bunch of professional websites for you and then buy SEO services.

If I were a pro poker player I wouldn't be on this site, yet you are on this site and you grind for a living... can you please explain how that makes sense

$75 an hour isn't low by my standards, I'm really thankful for that win rate.

Yes, I understand this. I have been spending a great deal of time researching and taking action. I've launched an affiliate marketing campaign and read hundreds of posts. I also started trying some offline marketing methods recently. I'm not interested in doing really questionable black hat stuff that takes value from other people to make low amounts of $$$.

$75 an hour from poker is the top end of where I'm at right now. If I was better I'd make more. I don't really wish to play poker for a living in the long term (at least not exclusively). I only played about 25-30 hours on average per week over the past year. I would be happy playing maybe 10-20 hours a week and making the rest of my income from business projects.

I'm far away from asia actually. Why I meant the op should be ready to fail is because of bad sellers. In my opinion you need to spend a fair amount of money to test services out before you can say for sure what is going to work for you. Reviews will not tell you the ugly truth at times that is what I have experienced.
And I would probably only promise you a couple of beers for $10 or any other amount for that matter.
