My top competitor for a certain niche has about 30k of unique content..

My team has just finished writing our content and we have 30k + unique content now too.. The issue I'm facing is how format the site in the best way..

My competitor has his articles under 4 main categories so the menu only has 4 options. When you click on a category it takes you to another page which has a list of all the articles from that category that you can read..

At the moment on my site I just have a list of all the articles in the menu on the side..

I think for user experience both options are easy to navigate however I want to go for what ever Google prefers.. What would you suggest? Main categories which take you to another page where you choose the article you want to read OR all the articles listed on the side of the site one after another?

Where did you get content writers to create 30K articles and what is the cost. Please PM me details.4

I really like the genesis theme layouts, but I would have to know more about the nice and your competitors site and the categories to break it down for users to easily access.

Sent you a PM, I don't mind about users accessing it, I think it's equally easy both ways. I just want to know what Google prefers..

I would suggest you use subcategories whenever possible. Instead of listing all 7500 articles on the same page (30000/4), you should consider organizing them into some subcategories. This way you will have not only specific pages ranking in the SEs, but also category pages because they have relevant content (or at least links to it).

I would suggest you to create as many categories and subcategories as you can, google loves good organization, and this is a big + against your competitor.

Something that really concerns me about this,is how you're going to add the articles, because if you add them all at once, google might screw you...

Edit: At this numbers,5k articles more, won't hurt your site ;)

I bookmarked a authority site with a huge list of articles because I want to make a site like it in the future...anyway, they have about 50 categories to choose from all having to do with health....

so say you pick the option that says 'Digestive Health' it takes you to a new page with like 60 articles related to Digestive health...all conditions regarding health have varying amount of articles.. some have like 80......

i'm guessing these are the types of sites that are going to be sticking around for the long term... also has just about 300k facebook followers..
