    I have an option to get a few high-PR links but they must not be seen to website visitors. What is the best way?

    Here are some options I know:

    - font transparent,
    - 0px font height,
    - display: none,
    - margin: 9999px,
    - etc.

    What would be the best one?

    Thanks

    Hide them with jquery and leave the controls to hide / show the content on the page, eg. 1px buttons etc.

    Better than straight CSS because it's more believable - even if Google parses your CSS for content-hiding tricks, the jquery is a signal that the page uses js to display content, so the presence of content-hiding CSS is not necessarily a huge red flag.

    That's what I do all the time - have the keyword link in the body of the text, same colour as surrounding text, no underlining, no highlighting, emphasis or embellishments - so that no-one would ever think to click it.

    Unless that is, the anchor text has nothing to do with the surrounding copy - in that case I'll often use one of the many "the"s or "and"s on the page.

    I'm going to look into learning Autumns version tho!

    Thanks all. I want to use anchor text so I'll get my tech team to look into Autumn's idea.

    You can use CSS Style Property for the same which most of the Elite Marketers are using for their internal linking.

    <a href="#" style="text-decoration : none;">
