what's the best way to get content for your web 2.0 sites? scrape sites and spin? outsource it on odesk? fiver? other ideas?

also is the content on your tier 1's and tier 2's same niche as your money site? if i want to have 50-100 tier ones each with 20-30 tier twos...it's going to be really hard to have enough content all in the same niche?

    It's not your money site

So just get related content from article directories and spin :)

Exactly. Scrape content & spin it. If you're extra lazy, head over to fiverr and find someone who spins the crap for you for $5 :D

ok, I have this super paranoia that someone is going to "check" on these web 2.0's like there's some manual reviewer in the sky that stops me from using scraped stuff.

Even if, who cares? It's just a web 2.0 site. You can always create some more as a substitute for the 1 you lost.

Go to an article site. Search for something related to your money site, but more generic. Find an article. Get someone on 5er to rewrite. Use that.

ok thanks, thats what I thought....but also, what happens when you have hundreds of web 2.0s do you start drifting off your niche? so can some of my web 2.0's be about computers if my money site is about gardens?

Try to get it remotely related. Like, if your niche is xbox 360's, bring it upto the gaming level, or even computers-->graphics cards.
You want to still have some sort of relation, so try scrape articles that use similar kws to yours..
    thats my opinion, anyway.

Sounds a bit like paranoia tbh ;)
Let's say you build a web 2.0 wordpress blog and put your spinned crap there. Why would a wordpress staff member contact Google and report it? And what should he report there? He can't even make sure who it really was who created the web 2.0 site. Maybe it was you, but maybe it was your competition who tried to harm you. Who knows?
Yeah I know IP and such. But think about the workload that would cause to track down everyone's IP. And all that for a minor issue like spinned content? Nah, that's not going to happen.
