If you use a very long tailed keyword then it will eventually show up on Google results as the first or second choice video but not until Google finds it (and maybe more).

So what is the best way to get Google to index your video?

I know I need to backlink but what's the best way to do this for a video? What I don't want is YT appearing as a text result (which I've seen sometimes). I want to proper indexed video result appearing within the SERPS.

    Any ideas?

Make sure the keywords are in the title and the description and if the keyword you are targeting is long tail, the video should show up all by itself.

If the video shows up but is not in the position that you want, then you need to do seo to the video url and that will make it show higher in google organic results.
