I wanna create an illusion that there a lot of backlinks on a domain for aesthetic purposes but i do not want it to affect ranks. Would a no-follow blast be the best way?

Let me correct your question:
"I want to manipulate Ahrefs metrics to sell a ton of posts in my website(s) and scam as many newbies as possible, all while keeping the current traffic of the website(s) coming from weak non-profitable keywords, what's the best way to do that?"

Tell me another logical reason and I'll be more than happy to help!

Another logical reason is to maybe make your backlink profile appear more “overwhelming” to your competitors. Might come as a surprise to you that not everyone has scam instincts. If you don’t have anything constructive to say, you could move on

So, you want to hide your backlinks from your competitors, right? If I am right, then you should block third-party crawlers that can show your backlinks to your competitors, such as Semrush, Ahref, etc.

He actually want to get a higher DR to fool his competitors and hide that his website is ranking with little to no links

Easily spotted, won't even get past filters since anyone with basic SEO experience will first check at least multiple results in the SERPs,
And easily duplicated as anyone can simply place such type of links,

Probably will get some of the scrapers & website duplicators (automatically or manually) away,
Most people are manipulating the metrics just to sell way overpriced links, basically scamming, if you're not I own you an apology

the same thing happens if you are looking to acquire a strong profile website on the site exchange platforms. The main criteria during DD is Ahref's backlink profile, the site owner can sell his website three times more expensive by manipulating the metrics and convincing the buyer that his website has any ROI

You can use No-follow for that but be careful with that as well, Google can still recognize patterns of unnatural linking behavior

No-follow blasts can make it seem like you have many backlinks without affecting your ranking. But too many low-quality links can harm your site's credibility with search engines.

I'm not sure how no follow link blast works. If you don't want it to affect your rankings then don't do it. Build your backlink profile more naturally and strong and it will be more aesthetically pleasing for you and google as well.

I don't have any idea how how no follow link blast will help. You can use no follow link blast but if google finds out it leads you to an severe risk. Always remember quality matters more than quantity, so try to build links naturally.
