How can we make sure our main machine doesn't get affected by any virus/malware?
Any Suggestions?
Which Anti Virus are you guys using on your machines?

My Chrome browsers always get fucked up and get slow down
( But I still Love Chrome ;) )

I am thankfully never have issues with virus, I just use standard windows defender. As long as you dont visit “suspected” site then fine.

You can consider the following malware removal software. The Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is one of the most effective malware removers, wherein conducts deep scans, as well as daily updates. Also, it's free. Another software is Bitdefender Antivirus Free Edition. It delivers both prevention and cure. Also, it has a free version. Lastly, you can consider Adaware Antivirus Free, which is an excellent option if you're making a toolkit.

All those malware removers and antiviral software are just crap. They don't do the job and slow down your machine. The best method is to move all your data to a separate drive, then format your system drive, install OS, all necessary software, configure everything and then take a snapshot of your system. This way you'll be able to reinstall your system within minutes if you catch a virus, while retaining all of your data.

Never had any problems with standard Windows Defender (knock on the wood).

If you can't help it and you click on places, where you shouldn't or you download cracked programs, get an AV e.g. ESET NOD32. If you want to remove already existing malwares from your system, use Malwarebytes and do a full scan in safe mode. You don't have to have Malwarebytes running 24/7, just do a scan, when you suspect, something is off. That should do the trick in the vast majority of cases.
Otherwise have a backup of your important files (preferably on a separate place with no internet connection), so you can simply format the hard drive and reinstall the OS, when no tool can help.

Also, use an adblocker in your browser, so malicious ads/buttons won't get shown and you can't click on them.

the best i was found is esset online you download a small file and finds anything you have in pc and remove it , it is the best i found on internet and no need download and installs try it

Never used a antivirus, never got a virus and I've visited lots of suspected websites, but I did not open any email attachments from suspect senders or opened cracked applications.
Same and best practice.

If you are infected, reinstall is the only way to be sure.

Use AVG Ultimate. A 1 year key on eBay is $8.50 Unlimited Users

Your computer in safe mode, you delete the temporary files using disk cleanup tool.
Download the Virus Scanner and after running it.

I my point of view Malwarebytes is good
