    Hey I'm looking for the best method to fake/spoof referrers now-adays.

    I've used MightContentLocker in the past, but I'm no longer Content locking, and I've searched around for scripts on here but they're all posted back in 2013.

    I'm not looking to use the "Click Here to Continue to the site" Interim page method. I want to do this:

    Traffic from Ads ----> Goes to Landing Page "Bad" ----> User Clicks Link on Landing Page "Bad" and gets sent to ----> CPA Offer

    What I want to do is when the User clicks on the link on Landing Page "Bad", I want the referrer to be shown as Landing Page "Good"

    I've looked into fakereferer(dot)com and was wondering if this is legit? Does it work for both desktop and mobile?

    Whats the best way to spoof/fake the referrer nowadays to make it look like traffic is coming from another site that I own?

    Thanks.

    ^^I'm not using a Wordpress website I am using HTML. That plugin is also no longer sold/offered/available/supported for a long time now.

    I am looking for either a solution that works with HTML websites, or a self-hosted script solution, or a service I can subscribe to solution.

    Thanks!

    Do you control this so called landing page "good"?

    If so... a simple PHP script that checks if referrer is page is "bad" landing page... if so, do javascript redirect -- if not... display your "good" landing page...

    Yeah I have Control of both the "bad" and "good" landing page.

    Would you be able to share the correct type of script you are referring to?

    The users from the ads I never want to actually go to the "good" landing page. I just want the referrer that the CPA netwok see's to be shown as if the visitor was coming from the "good" landing page, when in-fact they are all coming from the "bad"

    ^^Couple people in that thread are saying it doesnt work on mobile. It needs to work on mobile considering 50% of internet traffic in the USA is mobile now.

    Sidenote:

    I just tested out my tracker clickmagick's "blank referrer" setting (This is not what I want to do, I want to spoof, but I am blanking until a get a solution"

    So clickmagick has been blanking the traffic fine the past couple hours....UNTIL I just got a conversion...and low and behold the referrer is my actual website I want to be hiding/spoofing. So for all intents and purposes clickmagick seems to be leaking the referrer internally somehow....

    There's got to be a way to spoof/fake the referrer that works 100% of the time.

    Hopefully a BHW Legend comes to our rescue!

    I'd like to know if one exists too but if one does i doubt there will be much support for it. And you wouldn't wanna depend on it cause if it ever stops working, well then you're caught.

    I made this for an other BHW member a few weeks ago, it's not perfect and up to you to test it with different browser but it's a start and do no hesite to pm me if you want me to improve it.

    WARNING: This code contain a fail safe, if the referer can't be changed the traffic will not be redirected! This is for education only, use it at your own risk!
    PHP:
    <?php
    if(isset($_GET['redir']) && !empty($_GET['redir'])) {

    $redir_url substr($_SERVER["REQUEST_URI"], strpos($_SERVER["REQUEST_URI"], "redir=") + 6);

    $uri preg_split("/.redir.*/i"$_SERVER["REQUEST_URI"]);

    $refresh_url 'http://' $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'] . $uri[0];

    setcookie("redir"$redir_urltime()+5);
        exit(
    header('Location: ' $refresh_url));
    }
    elseif(isset(
    $_COOKIE['redir']) && !empty($_COOKIE['redir'])) {

    $referer $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'];

    $domain $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'];
        if (
    strpos($referer$domain) === false)  {
            echo
    '<form action="" method="get"></form>';
            echo
    '<script>document.forms[0].submit();</script>';
        }else {

    $redir_url urldecode($_COOKIE['redir']);

    setcookie("redir"""time()-5);
            exit(
    header('Location: ' $redir_url));
        }
    }
    ?>
    Send traffic to 'http://mydomain.com?redir=http://redirdomain.com' (where 'http://redirdomain.com' is the url where you want to send traffic to and 'http://mydomain.com/' the referer you want to display).
