I'm currently writing a ebook almost half way there. But at this point, I want to make sure I'm not writing for a lost cause :/ I know I should've thought of it earlier. But anyways, any good guide on this?

I think I will start a journey too. May get some nice suggestions :)

Start by typing your keyword into the search box and it'll start to guess your keyword and give you options. If your keyword is one of the top suggested ones then it's likely to be searched more than the others.

Don't be put off if you don't see any targeted books from your keywords though, that actually could be a good sign and would mean you can dominate your niche.

(I don't know if there are better ways, but this is what works for me)

Suggested keywords look good, but for long tails to better the content grade aim at putting more emphasis on comparisons or internal connecting.

If out of ideas adding a list of tips on how to apply the content would also be suitable.

Getting a couple ideas together using keyword tools such as ScrapeBox or looking at video titles on YouTube may work better than traditional styles of keyword research.

I do quite a lot of work on kindle unfortunately there isn't one solution to analyse the best keywords etc accurately. So I actually developed some tools to do it myself. If you like feel free to PM me and I can check the results for your book.

Has anyone here tried the software mentioned in that article?

I use VAs for my keyword research and would love to use a cheaper automated option.

The Kindlepreneaur website you refer to, says it is run by Dave Chesson, perhaps try doing an Amazon search for Dave Chesson to see how good his ranking strategies are before you embark on following them?
