I want to take PLR content and turn it into audio for podcasts, whats the best and most realistic sounding program for this?

Most of the programs don't do a very good job. However, I think there is something from AT&T called Natural Voices. I think you can test it at nextup.com

Yep, Natural Voices is the best for that if you are going automated.

Search on google for ' free voice over work ' and you'll find a ton of services that do projects for you to help you get going and backend product payout.

Hope that helps.

Most apps sound crap. Macs can sound ok but still robot like. Its built in the system preferences in OS X 10.4.x+

Dont hate me for knowing Mac stuff lol

There is also an application called ViaVoice, I think it is by IBM or you can try Dragoon Naturally Speaking.
Another suggestion, is to try what SitePal offers here:

just read them out yourself? but i guess if you're doing 80,000 then thats quite a task!

I've never used and text to speech stuff, but i think natural voices is the best from what i've seen!

I can attest to the effectiveness of Natural Voices.

The other applications I have used for this just don't really cut it compared to Natural Voices. The free test at nextup.com is great for verifying this.
