Best way to contact the moderators and get a reply within 48 hours?

Has anyone had success with PMing the mods and actually getting a reply. I've sent out a few PMs (some were very important) and nothing. Any other way? Has anyone had success, if so, please share your story

I've gotten responses from Wiz very quickly. Diamond Damien as well if you can believe that. Less than a day turnaround for both. And I know Meathead, Apricot, and Jazz all answer PM's quickly.

Well I hope I'm wrong, but the PMs I've sent in the last week were all unanswered.

We don't respond to PMs about drugs and hookers.... j/k. What do you need?

Really? This ^ is not the way to get a polite reply.

We answer as quickly as possible, based on urgency and workload. Right now, there's a backlog we're working through and you could have answered your own query by reading this post: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/shit-list/499995-shitlist-rules-procedure.html

Prioritising people who complain loudly in the lounge seems unfair to the members who've waited patiently to have their issues dealt with.

Is there a corresponding case study reviewing appreciation for two people who give up a huge amount of their free time to help people out on here?

if they dont, there either busy with the site, busy in there real lives or
busy with hookers.....happens lols

They ususally reply within 48hrs, didn't have probs with that..

Hi,

I didn't want to be obtrusive, so I haven't troubled you guys (the mods) with extra pm's.
But at the end of last month I posted a marketplace thread and haven't got any response on it, so I assumed it just wasn't approved for some reason. Now that I see your response here, I see that my conclusion may be wrong and you just have a lot of work. What assumption would be correct here? Thank you,

The forum is a (really) massive one, and there are only so many Mods to handle all the issues one can imagine (or cannot even imagine )! I bet in the given nature (BH but which some unfortunate people misunderstand with all crazy things like fraud/sh!that, etc and cause their own problems additionally) of this site, there could be more than the normal share of problems here than on any other forum.

I believe that our Mods and Admin are doing the best and consistently too. May be some of the mods were on Ungagged duty, given the global importance attached to it, and may be that has caused some additional burden -- adding to the already infinite numbers they already have -- on the Mods who are working here in their absence. But this is not going to be forever... So think about what possibly could be their own worries too! They are still doing justice considering of the reduced helping hand they have at present (for Ungagged duty or whatever else reasons)... that's a gigantic effort on their parts!

I think that there wasn't the need for this thread, but anyway... I hope that your matter will get sorted too just like all others get done!

Just Got a reply from BigBuddy. Apparently they just missed my thread... These are things that happen..... They are reviewing my thread now....

I emailed them using the contact form and nothing. I can't send any pms becaues I dont have enough posts, but that didn't stop them from accepting my donor money via Paypal.

As far as I am aware, that is a separate process from responding to private messaging, at least it was for me.

If your issue was the fact that you went to pink vs Jr. VIP, I can clear that up for you, as I was pink for a while:

I asked about this a couple months ago. Wiz told me that the first $97 donation was for donor status since I didn't have 100 posts at the time. Once I hit that magic number and went to the membership page, Jr. VIP became an option, so I had to donate $97 again to get Jr. VIP. Sucks, but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

I hope you understand my initial comment on here was a play on Jazzc previous post, and as he probably knows I have
nothing but respect for him and Wiz contributing their time here. I'll take it one step further and say Jazzc got me started
with CSS (only person who took the time to teach me) and I have used it on my websites religiously.

I wouldn't be a Mod here for nothing. Not enough time nor patience. =) I enjoy business, not running a daycare.

Is there any way I can accelarate getting to be able to send PMs? That is the only reason I sent the donor donation.
