Best way to cloak affiliate url?

    What is the best way to cloak your affiliate url?

    For WH sites? Personaly I prefer to create a php file with http.referrer redirection to affiliate and place it in folder which is dosallowed to access for SE spiders via robots.txt.

    If you use a php file on your website, you can use something like:

    So they hit your site, ie sitename/link1.php and its sends them to the affiliate.

    I like using Redirect in the .htaccess file
    just add

    Redirect /dogtraining h t t p your-affiliate-url

    then send people to h t t p your-affiliate-url/dogtraining

    it looks like its part of your site and people won't feel like they are being
    sent off to an external site
