    I found it to be pretty accurate. Look for keywords with the competition score in the range of 0.10-0.50.

    intitle:"keyword" inanchor:"keyword" may sound lame and rough but it's the quickest way to get a rough idea of keyword competitiveness

    SerpIQ hands down, it's formula for checking the top 10 is on point. It is paid, however I found it to be one of the most worthwhile investments i've ever made.
