Best video resolution for adult niche

What video resolution should I use for adult tube?

I was aiming for lower resolutions to gain on speed, smartphone, bandwidth, storage.

I would say at least 480p for audience from tier3 and tier2 countries, and at least 720p for tier1 countries.

Depends entirely on the target audience. If it's a HQ website, then you should use 1080p/720p. If you want to drive a lot of traffic, then you should use 480p.

1080p will give you that professional look, without using as much of your phone's data when uploading

I am looking source files all movies are 400mb and up. I would like to have less. It is my first adult website soo I think HQ is reserved for PROs

Reasons:
Static website.
Fast loading.
I expect more users on smartphones.
It is just a tube, not home cinema

Option 1:
Edit 720p video and slice content to 10 min with H.264 (720P) this will reduce the file to around 70 MB to 100 MB. (Takes lots of computing and manpower).

Option 2:
Convert resolution to 480p (Takes computing power and reduce Tier 1 views).

What would you recommend for a movie streaming website? 480/720/1080p?

why do people make these mini adult tube sites instead of just redirecting straight to the affiliate being promoted? does this have a meaningful effect on conversions
