    I've been looking on how to setup Ubuntu on a raid 0 setup,since when I tried with a regular disk, it wouldn't recognize it as a single disk, each drive was separate in the live disk.

    Some people recommend against Raid 0 since you can lose all your data if one of the HDD's or SSD's fail, but if you need the speed increase and are willing to have backup storage then its perfectly worth it.

    This is what raid 0 with 24 SSD's could do back in 2009. The read speeds are about 2x what they were in 2009,but there hasn't been a really cool system like this built since then afaik from searching google.
