I have a pretty simple method for building sites that get about 100k indexed pages. Traffic is about 25,000 uniques per month, most are bots, search traffic is about 1000 uniques per month. I built these sites as a test to see how well google would index without any IBL's.

Suggestions on what to do with sites like this? Is there a market for people looking for sites well indexed and high traffic?

You might be able to sell them, but I would give it a whirl with either BuySellAds and Google Adsense, do a one month trial and figure out what you could make on average. Use this as a guideline to flip the sites into a sustainable model.

You can likely sell them. But if they're not generating any revenue you won't get much for them.

Thanks for the suggestions. Repped you both. I was thinking that a CPM would be better than buysellads or Adsense since my page views and uniques are decent. Not a lot of clicks I would assume, but I haven't tested it.

Maybe even an SEO offer for the people doing posting manually :)

I did something very similar to this to get traffic. You can try content locking and redirecting to other websites to generate leads. I found that oftentimes my website would lose traffic after a few weeks. I would imagine difficulty selling something that makes little to no revenue. What do you use to get indexed? Stats / pinging sites?

The only content locking experience I have has been pretty poor. My domain was deindexed within a week and never came back even though the content was fresh and unique. Since the content on my sites is generally unique (highly spun) they index very quickly with minimal effort. I build some links to the root domain and link to the folders where the scripts are from the root domain. I usually use WP on the main domain then MediaWiki, Pligg, etc in folders off the root domain so my site looks like this:

    example.com (WP)
    example.com/pligg
    example.com/mediawiki
    example.com/forum

For the main WP site, I have a few plugins I use to generate a lot of content that G tends to like. The sites are frequently deep crawled and everything is indexed naturally as the Gbot sees appropriate.

If anyone is interested in a monetization JV, let me know. I can get these sites up and running, indexed on good old domains pretty easily with my blog network.

I would put on ads, and try to find some affiliate links - I think it should be pretty easy to do that with amazon AWS api.

I just finished putting up a banner to WinningWikis.com. It's kind of funny to advertise a wiki building service on a spammed wiki :) If I get any click throughs, I might try some advertising.
