Ok people, just for a little bit of background, I am 16 years old, and I have some experience in IM, but just using simple methods such as CPA + Youtube and PPD etc.

This (school) year I am looking to begin a more legit form of IM. I understand the basics of website creation, how to earn money, etc. My SEO knowledge is very minimal. My goals with IM this year is to earn at least $1k per month before this time next year, then hopefully sell my site. I have several ideas for sites, and I am hoping some of you more experienced members could maybe point me in the right direction for someone new to IM/Authority sites.

The types of sites i'm looking at making are the following:

    Amazon
    Authority
    Clickbank micro site(s)
    Several Micro Niche Adsense sites

I would really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction, such as what to look for in a niche etc. Also, is it a bad idea to purchase a premade authority or MNS site from the marketplace?

Lastly, what sort of investment will I need (ballpark obviously) to start one of these sites.

Thanks for the help, sorry for the long question, I understand I will probably fail the first time around, but If I do, I at least would like to gain a lot of knowledge from the experience.

    Thanks!

EDIT: Just a quick edit to say that my goal with IM(at least at this point in my life) is to be able to earn more money than I would doing a traditional job at my age, and hopefully learn some skills along the way.

Adsense is only useful if you have authority site, MNS Adsense was good in the past when EMD was an important factor, nowaday, say no to MNS Adsense.

Authority site costs a lot in early, so re-consider your budget.

The most appropriate is medium site like Amazon and Clickbank

Get your feet wet with a Micro Niche site first and then try authority. You can use amazon, clickbank, adsense, CPA, etc to monetize your MNS.

Pick a niche that you are interested in to make building a website a lot easier. Check the threads below for more detailed information

Thanks so much for all the links to the tutorials! I'll do some reading!

My only problem when researching keywords for amazon seems to be none ever have enough search volume.

ONe more question, I think i have found a niche with no amazon site competition, but the top results for the primary keyword are all CNET, pcmag, tomshardware etc.

Can I beat them in a long tail keyword if my domain is EMD?

say they all rank high for "best home laptop" but I have the domain besthomelaptop.com?

Don't give a shit about keyword research for now, get writing, see what's trending and hustle your shit on social media. That's what I'm trying to do, instant traffic.

Google gives most product keywords to manufactures and amazon and ebay. You're going to pick up mostly varianst of reviews and comparisons and other kind of questions, like xyz release date, when is xyz released and so on.

also depends on the competition, too.
