So I am using Ranker X and the account creating and posting number is going down.

I am using Storm Rotating proxies package of 40 count.

For Ranker X I use the 15 min proxies for everything on a 40 count thread.

The Ranker X support told me I might need to change proxies to private proxies??? Ranker X doesn't know what type of proxies I am currently using.

WHAT TYPE OF PROXIES DO YOU USE FOR WHATEVER TOOLS YOU USE?

I also use the same proxies for Scrapebox, but using scrapebox seems like a waste of time on finding sites.. (I'll do another post about that)

Maybe my keywords are not that popular to find specific sites....

Maybe I need to just post links to unrelated sites and forget about finding sites related to my keywords.

Yeah curious why you think its a waste of time.

I think the proper question is, "is scrapebox a waste of time for finding targets for ranker X or am I just using it wrong?"

I think Loopline I'm getting Geo blocked from using Yscraper on anything but my UK Yell.com. I'm Using stormproxies back rotating and it just wont scrape anything anymore for Yellopages.co. However ! I will be trying to switch over to the US proxies later tonight and give that a run.
My Question oh guru of SB - I bought Ranktracker - waiting for it to be added to my account, will I need dedicated residential for that plugin and.. how many will in need if I'm not going to use it heavily ? Oh and will the DedRes one work for google index checker ?

Make sure in yellow pages scraper that you max out your proxy retries and then also duplicate your gateway IP. So if your gateway IP(s) are like

    123.123.123.123:9090

    Then put like

    123.123.123.123:9090
    123.123.123.123:9090
    123.123.123.123:9090
    123.123.123.123:9090
    123.123.123.123:9090
    123.123.123.123:9090
    123.123.123.123:9090
    123.123.123.123:9090
    123.123.123.123:9090
    123.123.123.123:9090
    123.123.123.123:9090
    123.123.123.123:9090

in the proxy box in the yellow pages scraper.

Also if that doesn't work you can pm me and I can tell you how to hack the ini so you can try different user agents, that can make a difference. Also worst case you can hack the ini and crank up the proxy retries too, but that may slow it down a lot. But slow is better then nothing and assuming your on windows you can stamp out more instances of scrapebox so you really aren't losing anything there

for rank tracker I don't use proxies at all.

I put the project to use google 100 results and then stop after 100 results

    delay 60
    connections 1

And that runs for me with no issues, I just use the scheduler to schedule it while Im asleep or whatever. Lots of people use this setup and have for a long time actually

As for index checking, its tricky these days. You want to get ips that are from the country that you want to check for. So if you care about if its indexed for google.com in the US, you want US proxies. If you care about if stuff is indexed for google.it for Italy, then you want Italy proxies.

Be aware that "indexed" these days doesn't mean that its indexed in all googles, google is getting very "Fragmented" in showing what it thinks a user wants and often times you can find a url that shows as indexed in the USA and not indexed for google Italy or Google whatever. So if your using ips from all over the world, you would be able to run the index checker over and over and if the ips are rotating thru different countries you could get different indexed results every time you run it.

So its simpler to just get proxies from the country you care about most, as to what kind of proxies, so long as they are not blocked, it doesn't really matter.

Thanks for the reply @loopline I have been doing exactly what you showed for the proxies. Heres the wiered bit I'll post the reply from SB help

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Thanks for the logfile.

It's very unusual, I've only ever seen this once before I've attached a screenshot. Both requests returned

    Last Error = '-1 External exception C000001D'

The False in the error log means the connection did not leave your machine.

Now this is an external exception, which as the name suggests is external to our code and not coming from our code. We only catch the exception and log it, so there's no way for us to debug it or even work out where it's coming from. It could be a missing Windows dlls, an antivirus or security software, bad proxies, something with the https certificates on your machine for the yellowpages website, maybe a VPN or connection debugger that's intercepting the connection and the error is coming from there.

So unfortunately there's nothing we can do when the error is from outside out code. If this is happening with proxies disabled, then I’d try deleting the plugin and reinstalling it and also whitelsting the plugin in your security software.

Its strange because the exact same setup worked fine before for all GEO Yell pages. I built a much more powerful machine transferred my license's to it and moved from Win 7 to 10 and now this problem is happening.

I might transfer one of my Licenses back the old win 7 Pentium box as I haven't uninstalled it yet and see if it work ok.

So the key take aways are what you said

"I built a much more powerful machine transferred my license's to it and moved from Win 7 to 10 and now this problem is happening."

    and then what scrapebox said

"Now this is an external exception, which as the name suggests is external to our code and not coming from our code. We only catch the exception and log it, so there's no way for us to debug it or even work out where it's coming from. I mean scrapebox has been installed on like a million machines or more and your the one with the issue. I run windows 10 just fine and I know more then 10,000 other people run windows 10 with no issue.

So its not a matter of the OS, it boils down to that you changed stuff, namely machine/OS and then it happened. So something in the change is the issue and its not inherently just the fact that its windows 10 vs windows 7.

So moving it back to a windows 7 OS/machine may solve the issue, but it won't solve the issue because its 7 vs 10 it may solve it because the windows 7 machine/install doesn't have the OTHER issue that the windows 10 machine had, the OTHER issue being whatever is actually causing it.

So Id firs do like some dll repair software and whitelist in alls ecurity software and test with proxies off, also disable any VPN you may be using.

Else you could reinstall windows 10 if you want, or do windows 7, up to you of course. But scrapebox is built on windows 10, like its developed on windows 10, so its most optimized for windows 10, meaning windows 10 is not inherantly the issue.

Just trying to lend some thoughts to your issue, I don't know the exact issue of course, its a bit of process of elimination.

Yeah I'm thinking it an issue with the OS. Its the original free one that you created from your win 7 build. I will try a brand new fresh install of the OS from the download .iso and see if that makes any difference.
    I tried some private proxies
A changed the Storm Proxies to US and used a vpn to bounce to the US and set the Storm Proxy to the VPN IP.
Its just really strange I can scrape UK yell with no problem.
    Thanks for replying Loopline :)
I'll update when and if it works

From what I understand Luminati is the largest of the proxy service providers. Anyone have any good \ bad experience with them to share?
