you could do around 2–3 or even 4 if you wanted to, but just remember that posting too many in one go may make them lose out on attention since people can't see it all, i.e. they may miss a lot if they don't check at that time.

The best time to post on Tumblr is during night time since it's the busiest time for users. Regardless if it's weekdays or weekends, the peak time for post activities is from 4:00 PM EDT. As for notes, the peak time is around 10:00 PM EDT, as well. Among the days of the week, Sunday is the busiest day for Tumblr users.
