Anyone have a suggestion for a good heavy duty tool for this? I have been using some of the online tools but most only show up to 1000 links.

    I am looking for:

    Unltd links
    Anchor text
    Unique Domains

It would be great if it had a database that would show when the link was discovered so I am able to keep track when new ones show up?

SEO Elite is weak in this area, for some reason it only shows a handful of links.

No tools can do this well since the SE's only return 1000 sites for queries. You could probably get around this with running a bunch of queries like for awhile, and then junk like term.

if your a bit of a programmer this isnt so hard to create, granted, it wont be perfect as you cant find all the links the se's know once you break 1000 of em but heres a bit of an idea for ya

referrer logging - monitor who sends you visitors, make sure you ping their god dammed remote url to help get it indexed, QUIT is also an option here
monitoring the links in google/yahoo - go and load the remote page, find your link, check if its nofollow or not, record the anchor text as well
turn crappy links into good links - find some of those links that would look good to an se and feed it some more links with bmd or similar, if you pour some links into it it'll make that link far more useful to you

dont forget you can do various tricks like requesting the page have a certain keyword of yours on it as well not just your link to try to garner more than 1000 links out of the se's

also make your visitors do the pinging for you in an iframe, ideally have a list of all the referrers in a db and randomly select a row (perhaps a link thats under a month old?) and make a user ping a url every time they view a page, they'll never know and it'll help get your indexed links up

anyway, my 2c, i do a bit more than that myself but thats some of the basics for it :) you really need to start this as soon as you launch the domain to get real data though, after a while its hard to backtrack all that info into something concrete
