Also doing a google search for forums related to your Niche also helps sniffing out potential customers, in order for your conversions to be worth while you have to become affiliated with those forums and make contributing posts or give away freebies to lure people to your offers.
Knowing your target audience and tracking their foot-steps while offering them free stuff, eventually leads to your product/offer being purchased (if it's any good). Hiring DP workers to handle these things for you could also increase your efforts.
