Hello guys,

I'm not sure if this has been asked before and sorry If it has but I couldn't find my answer when searching on here. I'm looking for the best sites that have royalty free images "no monthly charges or charges on single images" that I can use on clients blog sites and social media platforms. I've already looked at sites like flickr and istock but both have some sort of charge.

Anyone have some cool sites they could list me with please.

Thanks.

Here are some name of websites that can help you find royalty free images. Morguefile, freerangestock, everystockphoto, compfight, and photopin.

Try searching and look at those sites and I am confident you will be able to find royalty free images that you can incorporate to your clients blog posts or articles. :D

You can also do an advanced image search in Google and select 'free to use commercially'

Thanks I just gave that go, do you think we can actually use them even if they are listed under "free to use commercially".

For example I did an advanced searched with "free to use commercially" as the option for Barack Obama, and it gave me images from sites like wikipedia and flickr. I'm abit sceptical when using celebrities.

This is the best way to get CC modifiable/commercial use images. If you're using them on a site still give credit to the creator though, if you want to play it safe.

Yeh I would cc just to play it safe, but some of the clients wouldn't agree when advertising other people.

I'm abit sceptical when using celebrities.

All photos taken by any official US government photographer that have not been classified are in the public domain. It's considered public property. If the celeb is a POL, use their official pictures and you are fine.

I wouldn't trust it, nor would I trust Wikipedia.

I think you should re-look at Freeimages - it does pull images from iStock at the top of your search (owned by same parent company) but there will be hundreds of other images underneath.

It is one of the best sites out there for free images, plus if you look at the photographer's profile you should get a good idea if the photos belong to that person or not.

If you can't find what you are looking for you can always buy them!! :) It's worth it if they are good.
