There are tons on threads here in BHW that will guide you down the right path. Take a day and read through each and every single seo related thread ( You never know which threads might give you the goldmine you've been looking for ) and take notes.

After that, buy a handful of domains to test what works and what doesn't. Scale up after you've figured out how your sites reacts with certain methods.

My advice is not to spend any money on ebooks/courses. There is tons of free information available online. You just need to know the basic concepts and come up with an idea, then follow through with it. Money comes from working hard, not studying.

If reading a forum is too much, SEO might not be for you.

Get your hands dirty. Create an affiliate website for an easy keyword and start doing SEO practical while reading about SEO. That's the best way imo.

Grab scrapebox and scrape some links or buy a database of links. Get some fresh domains for one niche to target (not previously registered) and start shooting links at it. Test your anchor text distribution with each domain.

One domain you can use a handful of anchors, the next you can use more anchors, etc. And monitor how your sites respond.

Remember to have these domains registered for the same niche because what works in one niche might not work in another. Some niches you can get away with 80% main anchor, others anything over 40% will throw up some red flags and send your site into the abyss.
