    Hi everyone.

I wanted to know which is the best registrar to go for buying 100 i.e.bulk domains?

Also, which is the hosting you would suggest for 100 sites?

P.S. 100 sites are Micro Niche Sites

I have found internet.bs.net to be a good place to buy domains
    and Hostgator for hosting.

Not sure about the registrar, but for that many sites, get your own dedicated server.

Even if you are paying $60 per month, which is will get you a pretty beefy server, this is still less than $1 per site per month.

Well worth it when you consider that WP will (in most cases) perform much better on your dedicated site than it will on a shared hosting, where you might be sharing with 50 other people who have a couple of dozen sites each.

Let me know if you need a hand with this.

The problem with most reseller hosting, is that you still have no control over who else, or how many other sites you are sharing the server with.

Combine that with the 'best-effort' SLAs that you get with most hosts, and you can see why I always steer people with sites that actually make money, away and towards VPS or dedicated servers.

When you think how much you will be spending on content and offsite SEO on each of the 100 domains, you soon see that skimping on hosting costs to save pennies per site per month makes very little sense.

Wondering why more people don't recommend Godaddy for registering domains? I pay $7.69 with the domain club and I have never found anyone cheaper??

Looks like you would pay $7.99 x 100 if you pay with wire.

    $9.99 isn't really "screwing you"

    I can do averages...
    If I keep a domain for 2 years $1+9.99 = 5.50/yr
    3 years $1+20/3 = $7/yr

Blow me down so cost savings occur at year #5
1and1 = free privacy as well (usually a premium anywhere)

The luxury of having a masters in physics and soon nuclear engineering... I can actually do basic math :D

If you want to be even more specific at year #5
    Domain at 1and1 = $41
    Domain at $7.95/yr place ~ $40
the actual cost savings is going to be even less than $1 per domain after 5 years due to inflation and general business related loss of capital... roughly 85 cents in savings ... only by year 5 though.
Let's do a probability study of keeping a micro niche website 5 damn years.

Sure - I guess the $1 first year does make a difference. That's only on .coms though. I'd have to pay $0.50 more to transfer a .net to them. PLUS... they claim this is valid this month ONLY, and limited to 10 domains per customer.

Suddenly it doesn't seem like a such a great deal.
