I have a local computer repair business who needs more business. I've got my foot in the door offering them a website, but I want to know...

What's the best, fastest, and hopefully easiest way(s) to bring in new business (or repeat business) for a computer repair offline business?

I want to show them quick results, so they have more money to spend on further marketing!

    Thank you!!

Here's a few quick ideas off the top of my head:

    1. Sell them a service whereby you will do home-visits within, say 2 hours and the first hour of your time is then free - charge a yearly fee for that service.
    2. Sell third-party computer warranties
    3. Become an affiliate for security, web hosting, software companies and on-sell those products/services

Actually, we were just pitched by a IT/repair company...but not directly by them. Let me explain, it might spark some ideas for you...

A woman came in that owns an insurance company. We never heard of her before...and we didn't set up a meeting. She came in cold...but brought lunch. Armed with Jimmy John's party platters she said, "Hey - mind if I feed your office today?" To me, that took balls. To walk in cold...yet confident as fuck....I couldn't say no. Of course I knew she wanted to pitch - she was pitching health, life and disability insurance. We get these pitches all the time...but she is the only one I ever listened to. (Thanks to Jimmy John's)

Back to the point...in her pitch she said something along the lines of, 'and we care about the health of your office too....that's why we partnered with XYZ IT to give you a special deal" - blah blah - she was a bit spacey as I told her that we wouldn't ned that....but anyway, the deal was something like $249/year and it included website hosting and 24/7 on call service with a 1 hour or less response time guaranteed. Now, you still pay for the hourly service...the $249 is the buy in to have access to that...and the web hosting for the year was the bonus.

I'm sure the hosting is just shared shit hosting...and most companies that need an on-call IT/Tech probably need a dedicated server and it would be a step down going for this...but it might give you some ideas. Partner with other service providers...let them include your deal to sweeten their offer. When done right it might pull in some new business.

    Get creative. Good luck.

Gorilla marketing. Think outside the box. Essientially you are going out everyday and really looking for your leads. This could be standing in a high traffic area and handling out flyers, or going car to car and putting a flyer on each window. Think outside the box, all it requires is some time and effort
