Javascript/typeScript + solidity => $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ because of huge demand and very limited supply of devs

(Python good too for personal use and versatility )

There is no "best" programming language in a general sense. It really depends on what your want to build.
If you're relying on CPU intensive tasks, choosing python over node.js for example makes sense.
And same goes for databases, mongoDB is not "better" than mySQL.

Python is great for beginners.
Learn the fundamentals of software engineering.
Same applies across languages and platforms.

It depends a LOT on where you're heading. For example, if you're heading towards machine learning you should start with Python. If you would like to build complex web apps then JavaScript might be a better idea (these are just some examples; each programming language has lots of use cases).

depends what you want to do with the programming language

you obviously wouldn't be using things like phyton and c++ to make a website

you obviously wouldn't be using HTML to write a bot

all comes down to what you want to achieve

no python for websites?
tell that to Django devs

all technology is useless if you have nobody to code for

some people have some ideas to write bots that were already written...

I find coding skills only useful to modify existing code and glue apps together

aha yes my bad for not including a programming language with 3% market share in websites.

should I tell the guy to make a website using ruby or better yet perl?

come on now.
