best program to access another pc remotely

Sometimes i need access to my work computer when i am home and other way round. Which program is best for this use?
Obviously i can't be on both computers at the same time, so it has to be something that once installed won't ask access permission from the other side.

There's a whole bunch of programs out there that let you do this, such as GoTo Meeting and LogMeIn.

windows remote desktop , if you are on windows. Is comes pre-installed

Team Viewer can be configured to auto start up and you can configure a permenant login user/pass. It's also free.

I hated TeamViewer. It might be my computer, but it made my computer move S~L~O~W. I got rid of it. Haven't found a replacement yet.

Both Team Viewer and Remote Desktop will do the job.

Logmein. works perfect for me and its web based so you can sit down at any computer and use it.
