So I'm trying to find the best source for private proxies to scrape Google Scholar search results. I've tried Proxymillion, BuyProxies.org, and DreamProxies, and all have been found more or less wanting.

Proxymillion private proxies work great for scraping regular Google search results, and supposedly they should be able to scrape all Google subdomains, but their proxies do not seem to work for Google Scholar.

DreamProxies is just complete shite, their private proxies didn't work at all.

BuyProxies' private proxies were hit or miss with Google Scholar, however I quickly hit the "we can't tell you're not a robot with JavaScript disabled" error. I only bought 5 BuyProxies private proxies because they're kind of expensive, I may buy more and try again if people here say they should be good as long as I treat them with a bit more respect.

Does anyone know of any good places to buy proxies which will work well for scraping search results from Google Scholar? I'm willing to shell out some cash money, but of course all things being equal the cheaper they are the better.

I don't know any provider offering proxies for Google Scholar.

You should look for virgin proxies.

Thanks Chris, I'll take a look at some of this sites in your signature. Do you happen to have a recommendation for what proxy provider I should try first?

There is not one perfect proxy provider

You should look for those providers offering virgin proxies. At least you know those proxies weren't used before.
