    Hi guys,

My blog homepage is a feed of recent posts. I would like to put the traditional homepage copy on here though, but not sure how to best go about it.

Ideally id like it underneath the feed (for example say i feature the 5 most recent posts).

Obviously i want the homepage copy for SEO benefits, but i don't want it to be above the blog feed, as users aren't interested in reading it, its there just for SEO purposes.

Id think the best way to implement this would be a widget? How could i get this from the side bar, and under the blog feed? Or would there be a better way to accomplish this?

    Thanks

    Home Page:
A lot of premium themes are featuring this kind of thing you are searching for.

You either have your latest post on your homepage - or a combination of feature posts, posts from a specific category or tag, through multiple kind of widgets, sliders, etc. Just do a quick search and see what fit you best.

Sounds good, however using a static page, how can i put widgets in the mains section of the page, and not just the sidebar? Im using the "responsive theme", and as a whole i like it, but i would like an area for homepage copy. Any homepage templates you could recommend?

Try and search for Sahifa. It has more options than putting widgets in sidebar - choosing a static homepage will bring specific widgets from the theme into the config page.
