I have never sold domains before, but I have several really good domains and need a little bit of advice as to where the best place to sell them would be; obviously godaddy is a joke, I was thinking about paying the $20 to list on sitepoint.com , but are there any other places? Any advice you would give me? This domain is worth a lot and I paid $10,000 for it a long time ago. I just need a little guidance to get the most I can for this domain, and only deal with quality prospects.

Godaddy is #1 to me, because even people unfamiliar with the domain biz will see it returned when they do a domain search on a name similar to yours. I've made good money with them.

Afternic is #2. I've made (and spent) money there. But not much (under $1k made for 4 domains).

Flippa seems good, and I have 2 domains listed there now, but no sales yet.

    Good luck!

Sometimes you find some decent buyers at dnforums.com as well. I dont like sedo.com because they are overloaded with domain names and it is hard to find anything in the clutter.

    Thanks guys; I def don't think Godaddy is the best place to sell a domain.....by any means. I'm looking for more exclusive / less commercialized places that have savvy internet marketers that could make good use of the domains;

one of the domains is erebates.com :)

If you want to sell in a domain market, use Sedo.

If you want to sell it in a forum, sell it at Namepros.com, but you'll probably not get what you're looking for, price-wise...

You could try to buy a sponsored listing in Domaining.com's daily email newsletter, or buy a banner on the site...

    But...

I would suggest submitting it to the RickLatona.com daily email newsletter. It is one of the widest read, if not THE widest read domain sales newsletter in the industry. Tons of end-users, marketers, and domainers read it every day. Rick Latona is pretty much taking over the domain business, as he also has a domain brokerage service, live auction company, and is the organizer for the biggest domainer convention series - T.R.A.F.F.I.C.

Submit it to RickLatona.com and they'll sell it right.

    For quality domains:

    Sedo is fine.
    Afternic works.

    Namedrive sucks.

    For minor stuff

    SitePoint
    DigitalPoint
    DnForums
    Namepros
