I don't know about you guys, but I buy a decent amount of domains. I have been registering a good portion of my domains at http://resellerclub.com they are ICANN accredited and better known as DirectI. If you're into buying bulk domains this is the place to get them the cheapest without getting ICANN accredited yourself. The interface kind of sucks but I've gotten use to it over the years.

I saw questions posted before about good domain registrars and this one gets better every year. They are always getting new extensions and usually their prices are unbeatable. You do have to deposit money to be able to open an account and the more you spend the better pricing you get.

    Some offers going on:

    December 3-27 $1.69 .info's
    Current $3.69 .in
    Current $4.99 .net
    Current $7.99 .mobi
These prices are good no matter what price slab you're on.

(Damn I sound like I work for them or have an affiliate link up.) These guys are great on pricing is the point of this.

Also I use Godaddy coupons as well as check what other registrars are having specials and go with the best pricing scheme between a small group of registrars to register domains.

Here are some other registrars I use and think are decent.

    GoDaddy
    DomainSite
    IDotz
    Enom
    Moniker
NameCheap (Reseller not registrar but great interface)

I'm sure there are more I use but this is off the top of the head and these aren't in any particular order.

I've had one or two problems with godaddy but I was always able to sort things out with a phone call or two, so I still use them.

ive had good experiences with 1and1 for registrations a few times ive used them, even though i dont like their hosting, they have some good deals sometimes on cheap info domains and ive never had a problem with them for that.

When it comes to domains, do you guys worry about your registrar getting complaints if you spam? Or, do you just worry about hosting and your adsense or affiliate accounts?

I'm asking because as I delve into black hat and link spamming I'm starting to think I should register at 5 different registrars in case one or more eventually freeze all my domains!

    Am I just being paranoid??

I'd like to know which of the registrars you've listed here are offering bulk domain managing tools to manage domains in bulk. I know that Namecheap offers it. What about resellerclub and godaddy? It's pain to setup 100s of domains one by one ...

You guys haven't heard the godaddy horror stories lately have you? Not sure if I would use them for anything black hat.

Regardless - I'm a namecheap user myself. I just like the interface. Once your over so many domains (100 I think) they will let you negotiate a lower renewal rate as well.

GoDaddy is the AOL of the registrars. I have only two domains registered with them and will be soon moving those. GoDaddy thinks that it owns the Internet and acts like it. My $.02: If you have domains registered with GoDaddy..........move them ASAP!

I will say this 1and1 is horrible when you have tons of domains. I have over 500 there, mostly premium .coms, but its hell to make hosting changes or redirects...1 by 1. I would rather pull my teeth out. I have a couple hundred at godaddy and you can manage them all at once, but I also keep my .info's at dotster. Great management tools. Just my 2 cents

estdomains.com is not bad for me. I would void godaddy, it is not good for blackhat stuff at all.

Resellerclub stole one of my domains - they basically said someone complained, asked for loads of ID from me (ridiculous) and still refused to give it back. So just a warning, steer clear of resellerclub, go with a safe option like namecheap or internetbs.
