Stupid question, but I haven't bought an aged domain in years, always expired, where is the best place now days to get a decent domain?

I'm looking to spend a few hundred for an aged domain for a new business that is either aged a bit or even has a few decent backlinks.

    Godaddy the best?

Godaddy Auctions is the best and has the largest auction market but it's a bit too pricey. If you have the money, go with Godaddy.

GoDaddy auctions. That's the best value for money you can get imo.

Not the best value for money to be honest. Prices on GD auctions are absolutely crazy but they do have the biggest repertoire.

Please feel free to suggest me an alternative. My experience with them (only auctions though) has been quite good so far. That being said, cheaper is obviously better. :D

Save yourself the hassle and buy from @Nargil . That's what I do. Not worth the time competing at auctions.

I scored a few good domains with Dynadot's expired auctions.

next question is how do you find ones of authority on godaddy auctions? I don't see any options that give links or anything? Traffic?

I've used Pheenix and am happy with my purchases. GD I don't like. Way overpriced in most cases.
