    Hello,

I need some help here. My current pc is killing me and I want to build a pc for my daily tasks. I have built pc's in the past but don't know much about what is hot right now.

I run a ton of seo tools/softwares and it seems to cripple my machine....

I need to be able to run market samurai, micro niche, SB, Venom SEO, BMD, peas, firefox with endless plugins, photoshop, video encoding software, etc... ALL at once.

When I try that now it just hangs....

SO, can someone recommend a setup? I want to build a pc from parts bought at newegg.... and I want to make sure to have RAID redundancy of the data. Which on my last AMD box didn't work......

Any help would be most appreciated! Budget is two grand btw.....

    Cheers Mates!

I break my workload out across four different computers, they're actually crappers but they run well. This way I always have backup when !@#$ happens as well!

If your video encoding supports gpu rendering, get a good ati one. The HD 5830's are good, but due to mining there hard to find.

Have you tried a VPS to take some of the load off?

    Nope haven't tried that...maybe I should.

Thanks everyone for their help. I get the idea that there are more Intel fans here than AMD regarding cpu's....

So that nuclear power plant is working mostly for you I guess.

I'd really get myself an I5 or I7 with 16GB RAM and 4x VelociRaptors in RAID. I have an AMD X2 4000+ with 4GB (3GB usable because on Windows XP) RAM and since I use 3 monitors when I fill them up with windows is not snappy anymore.

I got 8mb RAM with i7CPU with 512gb SSD, I think going more than 8 GB RAM wouldn't help your system much, the limiting factor would be the harddrive(if it's not a SSD).

24 GB RAM is a waste IMHO.
