You will like Taken, she probably won't. Most females I know complain about the movie having really weak, dumb and submissive female characters, and if she's the intuitive type she'll pick up on that too.

I couldn't sit through Benjamin Button, it was way too slow for me and bored me to tears.

I recommend Slumdog. It has something for both of you.

Another great movie is Seven Pounds, with Will Smith. It's the type of movie that stays with you after watching it, very emotional.

I thought it was too drawn out and slow. Don't watch it.

Visually stimulating though some parts are hard for someone like myself to stomach. It's a great love story and shows a different culture that people like myself from the US are not accustomed to. A great movie. If you do not watch it tonight, do watch it soon. It follows the life of two boys and a young girl via flashbacks of one of the boys. It passes back and forth between the mate's story of his life and the activities of his present day and the predicament that has lead him to have to tell his life story. A fantastic movie imo.

Omg. I loved this movie. Of course the end is predictable, but it did not make it easy not to cry with this. If your wife loves a good sappy movie, this is it. I loved it. I cried. And it was a better concept than the traditional predictable movies.
