Hey guys so, I just came back from a lonnnnnnnnggggggg break form internet marketing, I know alot of stuff has changed.

Im wondering if there are any good posts/guides/suggestions for keyword research and keyword tools. I was never good at analyzing keywords or using keyword tools, id usually just check the amount of searches using google and that was it, but when Ive been reading the past few days people mention how they spend so much time on keyword analysis.

Which is what I want to improve on, since I think that was my mistake last time not enough time finding a microniche and targeting the right keywords?

In short, what do you do to do keyword analysis/find a micro niche thats viable?

I like using google keyword tool in tandem with Market Sam, though market sam's been pretty shitty these days. You can find MS in the download section.

    Welcome back!

when you analyze keywords, first you have to have some common knowledge of things to look at, some common sense, and enough intelligence to make the right decision based on your own analysis, their may be a keyword that to you looks very difficult to rank for, but to me it may be easy.

For starters, Look at PR, Domain Age, Page Link Count, Domain Link Count, Indexed Content, Title Tags. H1 H2 H3 Tags, Meta Tags, Description, Site Design.

Tools Such As : Market Samurai, Traffic Travis, Serp Attacks, and alike can aide you in your quest for this knowledge. In the end all that research wont mean a thing if you cant analyze your own skill and determine if YOU can rank for that key term.

    Best of luck.
