Hi,

I hope you can help me understand hosting for PBN's.

I want to build a small PBN (10 sites) but I’m struggling to determine what hosting is the best solution.

In de https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/the-ultimate-pbn-guide.1360359/page-4 on BHW it states: don’t use shared hosting such as Hostgator, Siteground, easyblognetworks.com and SeekaHost and is recommended to use one single droplets per PBN from reputable cloud hosting companies, like:
  • Digital Ocean
  • Vultr
  • Linode
  • Cloudways (managed DO/Vultr hosting)
  • Atllantic

The EBN solution of easyblognetworks.com seems good and easy and Droplets seems more technical advanced and difficult.

As a noob in PBN-world, what is the best solution for me?

Thanks in advance!

If I were you I would simply compile your WordPress site into static assets (plain html, css,js files) and put them on static hosting services like Netlify, GitHub, Vercel and Cloudflare pages on different accounts.

PBN sellers kind of scam you into thinking that Google goes and checks each and every hosting detail about your site to find out "footprints". In reality, most PBNs can be easily discovered with simple heuristics if you have the backlink data and page history of all the sites on the internet (which google does).

Get the option that is cheapest for you but invest time into not making your backlink profile look unnatural.

Thanks for your reply. Why shouldn’t I use WP, and use plain html site?

if I don’t use specific PBN provides I just can use any normal hosting and install WP, right? I can install each domain on a different provider.

The goal of hosting is to offer unique IP addresses for your network. Managing droplets/VPS is going to be slow and difficult if you have no idea what you are doing. Also, it's one of the most expensive methods.

Shared hosting companies are not always the best because there, you share your IP addresses with a very large number of other websites. That's also the upside of using shared hosting. Managing shared hosting accounts can be difficult and annoying as you have tons of accounts to log into.

The goal of "PBN hosting" is usually just to simplify your work when building a network.. so using PBN hosting is NOT a bad thing. A problem with "PBN hosts" is that with most, you share IPs with other PBNs, and that's reasonably bad.

So you need to figure out what you want and what you need and then you can make an educated decision about which hosting solution to use.

I spread my PBN hosing across multiple shared hosts as well as cloud providers.
Same goes for domains too they are also registered across multiple registrars.
