    Have you seen HostWinds?

They look very solid and have good prices.

I would advice you to go for Bluehost or Namecheap.

Bluehost is solid and Namecheap have one of the best customer service, so if anything happens, it can be resolved in seconds.

Best wishes and i hope to get a blog with such pageviews daily!

Amazon web services... you don't need anything too powerful for 100k/day, thats only like 1 request/sec. You could probably even run of their T2 micro for free...

If you're asking about the type of web hosting, and not a hosting provider, there are several questions you must consider:

    1) What kind of website do you have? Is it CMS or static? A plain .html website needs a lot less virtual/dedicated resources than a website made with Wordpress, for example. If you have a Wordpress website, I'd suggest a minimum of 8core, with a good processor (E3 or E5 processors), and a minimum of 8GB RAM.

    2) What type of traffic do you have? How many users are on average online and is there a large difference between your average and your peaks? If you have a lot of peaks (very high traffic during specific moments of the day, and very low traffic during the rest of the day), you need a server that can handle those peaks for which you will need more resources than when your traffic is consistent throughout the day.

    3) What content are my viewers are my viewers looking at? Is it just text, or text with images, or a lot of images, or even videos. This can also make a large difference in your requirements.

The best would be to consult several hosting providers directly with the answers to these questions and compare prices.

I am using $5 unmanaged VPS for 40-50K daily pageviews through ad campaigns. If you don't know how to handle vps, try these guys knownhost.com for managed vps. They will take all the pain and optimize the vps for you. Its better than shared hosting and many other high traffic cloud hosting.

For such traffic you should look for SSD hosting and at least 50Mbps bandwidth.

I'm using www.webuzo.net and have never look back my VPS's (got 3) are with uptime of 180+days now.
Accepting bitcoin / PayPal with high privacy protection. They don't keep billing logs ! :)

    You can also look at www.linuxssdvps.com / Qhoster.com / www.Abelohost.com.

I was with Qhoster befor a year .. before I find webuzo.net hey was the best for me but now they are.. average :)

You can also check the Market Place here

I'd recommend you to check out hosting deals from wmd.hosting and ir-hosting.com.
Their prices are low and support is active for 24 hours.
